Andy Grear

Partner

Andy’s one of the founding partners of RDM. Married with 6 kids and myriad of animals, Andy is our resident plumbing guru and financial guy. He loves being outdoors, homesteading his urban oasis, spending time with family, visioning for your space, and chowing down on a flurry at The Bold Face Dairy Bar.

Rhett Harkins

Partner

Rhett is the other half of the founding duo of RDM. Married with two kids, feral cats, a few rescued pups, and a handful of chickens - he’s who you may meet for your initial walk through with us. After that you’ll find him managing job sites, snapping photos, sipping cappuccinos, backpacking at the Red River Gorge with his family, and/or munching on his 5th or 6th ice cream flurry of the week, and it’s probably only Tuesday.

Tom Parker

Lead Carpenter

Tom undoubtedly has the best beard of the staff at RDM. Married with two kids, he’s our foreman, our carpenter, and general jobsite sage. You’ll often find him tinkering in his shop, playing D&D with friends and family, making soap, or inventing a contraption to make your installation go smoother.

Brock Pressley

Installer

Brock is who you might see at the onset of your project or setting some stellar tile in your new bathroom. He’s always bringing an elevated level of dedication and a great attitude to the job site. Married with two children. Off-site you can find Brock at the table behind a strategy board game or honing in new skills to make your job come to life.

Grant Trimble

Finisher / Painter

You will likely find Grant nearer the completion of your project, when an elevated eye for detail and finesse is required for the finishing touches. Although he is often found with a brush, a roller, or a sprayer in hand - he will happily set them down for an engaging conversation about philosophy, music, art, culture, etc.

Rest assured, there are few found on a remodeling jobsite in the Cincinnati area who are more dedicated to their craft.

Mike Malott

Master Electrician

You may see Mike running around (literally) to be sure that your electrical plan is executed to design and to code. Often the electrical scope, be it a heated bathroom floor, under-cabinet lighting, new breaker panel, or strategically placed electrical outlets, is what makes or breaks the user friendliness of a space. When it’s done well, you usually don’t think about it…but when it’s not thought out, you notice. Mike is here to make sure you never think about him after he’s gone. :)

Off the jobsite you’ll find Mike coaching his son’s basketball team or helping a friend make a project come to life.

Jason Gerth

Master Plumber

If you want an inspector to take a look at a plumber’s face and rest assured the job was done well before even looking at the work, you want Jason there. Jason is our Master Plumber, but off the jobsite you may find him working on cars in the garage he built or riding dirt bikes with his kids.

Cara Van Doren

Administrative Assistant

Cara began as a very satisfied customer after a basement bathroom addition and has been working with us since beginning in 2021 as our administrative assistant! She enjoys helping the team behind the scenes and she finds residential home renovations really exciting. Cara is married with 4 kids. Their family has resided in Clifton ever since her graduation from UC. When not working, you'll find her gardening, biking, trying a new recipe, quilting, or making her kids extra activities a reality.
